Lace is fun! Don't be afraid, this hat only has a couple of inches of lace at the beginning and then it is mindless stockinette stitch for the finish. Great for holiday knitting as you only have a few months left. This is a great, feminine look and would be great for anyone who has lost their hair. Start: 6:00 pm

Another option is to make a wrap for votive candleholders or even larger pillars. You should be able to knit one or two in an evening. You will need to purchase the beads and wire before class.
