Ancient Pathways started out merchanting at California Renaissance Faire's and various Society for Creative Anachronism events in 1991. In 1997 we enlarged to a retail store in Fresno, CA and have been growing ever since.
Many people ask how we came up with the name Ancient Pathways. It was one of those wake up in the middle of the night, "I know the answer" kind of thing. Ancient because we do medieval crafts and Pathways because by teaching people, and by sharing our knowledge, we are opening a path to the past.
